As your Primary Care Trust we are esponsible for the NHS budget for the 164,000 people registered with local GPs. On behalf of the residents of North East Lincolnshire we fund the NHS services provided by your local hospital in Grimsby, mental health services as well as more specialist services provided by hospitals outside of the immediate area. The PCT also directly provides services such as health visiting, district nursing, school and nursery nursing. We also fund emergency ambulance and health transport services.

A major feature of the Primary Care Trust’s responsibilities is the work it undertakes with GPs (family doctors), Dentists, Pharmacists and Opticians – known together as Primary Care Practitioners. With them we plan the provision of local NHS services to meet the needs of you and your family.
