At Bradford City Teaching Primary Care Trust (tPCT) we believe that we cannot improve the health and social care of our communities in isolation. To maintain good health we need advice and help from our doctors, nurses and health visitors.
We also need to help ourselves by pursuing a healthier lifestyle. However, this doesn't mean that we ignore the fact that poverty, bad housing, unemployment and other social pressures often contribute to people's ill health. To tackle this we are working closely with Bradford Council and community organisations to help improve people's living conditions and lifestyles.
I hope this website will act as a link between the tPCT and the residents and patients of the diverse communities we serve. Through the website we aim to let you know about some of the most important health education messages, changing patterns in the NHS and health care news from your local area. Our main priority is you, the patients, and the provision of the best possible health care for you. Bradford City Teaching Primary Care Trust is a listening and caring organisation and we welcome your feedback on what we are striving to achieve.
